Care Call provides a range of state-of-the-art products, with our key product being the personal alarm which brings immediate assistance with only the press of a button.

Care Call’s key product is the personal alarm monitoring system.
Our clients wear a small, lightweight, waterproof pendant and have a Care Call speaker unit plugged into their telephone socket. The telephone functions as normal, but with the press of the pendant button, clients are in immediate contact with the 24-7 call centre.
When the personal alarm pendant is pressed, the speaker unit is activated and a call is automatically made to the Emergency Response Centre. Trained staff immediately answer the call and the information we have previously been given is shown on the computer screen. Call centre staff know who is calling, their address, the client’s medical history and whom we should contact in case of an emergency. All information is held confidentially.
The speaker unit has a highly sensitive microphone and amplifier, which enables our client and staff member to speak to each other, even if the client is not near the unit.
The emergency response centre staff member will then contact the necessary emergency services or a family member or friend who was nominated by the client.
For clients with limited hand movement, such as people living with Parkinson’s Disease or arthritis, we also have available a Gem Pendant, which has a larger activation button.
Fall Detector
The Fall Detector is ideal for those who may not be able to activate a pendant following a fall, such as people living with epilepsy or diabetes or those who have had a stroke.
The Fall Detector automatically activates the Care Call unit, which contacts the 24-hour Emergency Response Centre, if the wearer does not get up after a fall.
The pager-size Fall Detector is worn at the waist and can also be activated manually by pressing the button
Pneumatic or Puffer Switch
The Puffer Switch is ideal for those who may not be able to activate a pendant e.g.
people subject to Cerebral Palsy, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis
etc.
The Puffer Switch can be mounted on an armchair, bed head, wheelchair etc…
and comes fitted with a one-meter blow tube. It can be activated by either blowing
into the tube or gently squeezing the pressure attachment.
Gem Pendant
The Gem Pendant has a larger button for use with limited hand movement for example someone with Parkinsons Disease or Arthritis.
Flood Detector
The Flood Detector Package senses water overflow. The sensor can be placed in the bathroom, kitchen or laundry to detect spillages from the bath, basin, shower and sink areas. Should an overflow be detected, the flood detector will automatically contact our Emergency Response Centre, which will get help immediately.
Panic Alarm Package
The Panic Alarm Package provides a silent alarm by the front door allowing a client to activate the alarm button if they feel threatened by the intentions of the person at the door. When pressed the button will automatically and silently contact our Emergency Response Centre, which will access immediate assistance.
Quick and easy spare key storage
The StorAKey key safe system is available from Care Call and is a secure method of having keys readily available to our clients’ homes in the case of an emergency.
A code is programmed into the safe and held on a client’s confidential file. The code is made available only to emergency services and those authorised by the client. Only with the correct code can the front panel be removed to reveal the keys housed in the cavity behind.
